Minutes of June 10, 2011

The board met via conference call with Isabel Hoy, Carol Brown, Tamara Meredith, Mary Jayne Jordan, Jack Willmarth, and Chair Karen Hopkins attending.

Minutes were not available but are posted on the web site.

Jack reviewed the financial report. Isabel and Jack also commented on the filing of the IRS tax form 990 and the Secretary of State's Annual Report and their importance for the work of the Foundation.

Isabel and Karen reviewed their meetings with Chris Van Burgh and Cynthia Twing regarding the Wyoming Library Leadership Institute's future. At this time WLF will act as the fiscal agency for WLLI contributions and donations if so directed. Karen will contact Chris and Cynthia with some related questions which arose regarding WLLI and report back to the board.

With Carol's resignation June 30, 2011, the board will have two vacancies. Mary Jayne recommended recruitment for new members be made at the WYLD annual meeting Thursday, June 16.

Since the board is not operating at full membership capacity, election of officers will be pursued at a future date. Board officers still remaining agreed to continue in respective positions until then.

Since there was no further business to come before the board, meeting adjourned.
