Crook County Library Foundation

Currently, the Foundation Board members are the same as the Library Board members:

Charlotte Sharp

The bylaws are in the process of being rewritten to allow the formation of a Board whose sole function is fundraising for the Library, with the goal of raising money to expand the Sundance and Moorcroft Libraries.  Anyone interested in volunteering to serve in a fundraising capacity, please contact Jill Mackey at 283-1006.

Although tax-funded, the Library can always use help with special and long-term projects beyond the scope of operational funding.  The Crook County Library Foundation accepts memorial donations, legacies, bequests and other donations.

The Library keeps a "wish list" of books, magazine subscriptions and other items, and appreciate regular or memorial donations of these items.

Sundance Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library provide funds for unbudgeted items and supply volunteers to assist with various Library activities.  They hold an annual book sale, traveling bake sale, and Open House luncheon during National Library Week. 

The group meets once a month, except during the summer months.

Membership dues:
    Regular membership -- $5.00
    Junior membership -- $1.00
    Patron membership -- $15.00
